Display Contest

Rules & Regulations:

All displays must be new and original; never before seen at a previous gathering.
One display per collector for the Small or Large categories. One display per club for the Club category.
Three categories: small, large, and club.
All displays are to be 24”D x 36”W in size. There are no height restrictions. Skirted tables will be provided for your use.
Electric power will be provided but each entrant must provide their own extension cord and power strips. The suggested extension cord length is at least 25 feet.
The buildings should be predominately D56. After all this is a D56 gathering.
Judging will be by a juried (celebrity) panel. The People’s Choice Award will be voted on by all attendees.
All entry forms need to be received by March 17, 2006, after that date please contact Steve Otto at 815-877-2473 or by email at slotto43@aol.com to see if there is space available.

CATEGORIES:

Small: 1 - 3 D56 buildings plus accessories or figurines
Large: 4 - 7 D56 buildings plus accessories or figurines
Club: 4 - 7 D56 buildings plus accessories or figurines

DISPLAY ROOM:

The Display Room will be open for entrants to set up their displays Thursday, April 27, 2006, 5 PM – 9 PM and Friday, April 28, 2006, 9 AM – 11:30 AM.

The Display Room will be open from Friday, April 28, 2006, 12:30 PM – 5 PM and Saturday, April 29, 2006, 9 AM – 3 PM for judging and for attendees to view the displays.

The Display Room will be closed Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 3 PM. All displays must be dismantled and removed before 5 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2006.

Note: These times may change – please see the posted sign outside the Display Room for any changes.
